Course Description:

The course deals with life stories and daily experiences of immigrants and asylum seekers in Israel. It assumes that stories are one of the ways that people arrange their life and give it meaning. In this course, students learn theories on migration as well as practical tools for collecting migrants' and asylum seekers' narratives. They conduct interviews, analyze them and present them as video-movies, articles, photos etc. The course includes a field trip to South of Tel Aviv for meetings with asylum seekers.
